Contemporary Economics Course

The economic situation facing our society is increasingly complex and multi-faceted. Focusing on economics and administration, the Contemporary Economics Course seeks to equip students with a clear understanding of basic principles of economics and business administration needed to analyze such a difficult situation. Through our curriculum, students can obtain a wide knowledge of business management and marketing as well as both national and international economics.
The Contemporary Economics Course is divided into two programs: the Regional Economy Program and the Business Administration Program.

The Regional Economy Program consists of classes that deal with principles of economics such as Modern Economics, Macro-Economics, and Micro-Economics. In addition, it deals with specific economic problems in classes such as Economic Policy, Regional Economics, Industrial Economics, Welfare Economics, and International Economics.

Students who successfully complete this program will be well prepared to take positions as local government officials (focused on the regional economy) or active office workers who need economic expertise in their jobs.

The Business Administration Program consists of classes that deal with principles of business management such as Accounting, Marketing, and the Principles of Management. In addition, it allows students to analyze today's business world through classes such as Japanese Economy, Monetary Economics, and History of the Japanese Economy.

Students who successfully complete this program will be well prepared to take positions as certified public accountants, licensed tax accountants, or active entrepreneurs.
