Ninjutsu study of Mr.Okuse (summary)

A father, who is a writer as a profession, and an uncle, who is an Western-style painter, Heishichirou Okuse, who grew up in the cultural background, love to read from childhood, and after touching the world of ninja by storytelling books, both the writing and the tourism administration to hold up the "Iga-ryu ninjutsu birth place of Iga-Ueno", contributed enormously to tourism to create an opportunity of ninja and ninjutsu boom of today.
In 1911, he was born as a second son of soy sauce production and sales in Ayama-gun, Mie pref.
He was such a young literary enthusiast, that he and his friends published a self-published magazine when he was 13, after graduated Ueno Junior High School, he went to Waseda University, then became a pupil of Masuji Ibuse. During university days, he published a popular novel serially in "Kyoudo", which was published at Ueno. After graduated university, he started to work at Manchuria Telegraph and Telephone, then came back home at the end of war.
In 1947, started work at Ueno city hall as the manager of the Planning Office, he has thought that "Ninjutsu isn't fictitious and is real, and its reality is very rational and scientific", to published "Iga and Ninjutsu" as a handbook for city profile. At the same time, he had been written a novel "Ninjakaigan" and "Sengokuninjaden" (run a serial in 27 times) to self-published magazines.
In spring of 1952, at commemorative events of 10th anniversary of city municipal system of Ueno City, "Sekai kodomo haku (World Children Expo)" has been held, and he made a plan of "Ninja fushigikan (Ninja wonder museum)", published "Ninju no hanashi (Story of Ninjutsu)". At the Expo, demonstration of Saiko Fujita (14th Kouga-ryu Ninjutsu) is incorporated, and win popularity. This Expo was a trigger, and a lecture, television, and radio appearance request increased, and he flew about every region of the country with a municipal officer with a ninja costume.
In July 1961, "Ninjakan (Ninja museum)" , and in April 1964, "Iga-ryu Ninja Yashiki (Iga-ryu Ninja House) were constructed. At the same moment, composed "Ninja song", and held "Ninja festival" to accepted many tourist, and built the basis of ninjutsu sightseeing. On the otherhand, "Ninjutsuhiden"(1959) was published by advice of Teiichi Fukuda (pseudonym:Ryoutarou Shima), and "Ninjutsushoseihou"(1963), "Ninjutsu・Sonorekishitoninja"(1963),
"Ninpou・Sonohidentojiturei"(1964), "Zokukinhiseidan"(1977), "Ninpoukaiden"(1978), and "Ninjutsunorekishi"(1992) is published. The writing activity continue until the most later years, and once he was nicknamed "ninja mayor", closed the life at 85 years old in 1997.
