2nd (December 6) Mie Terrace

An extension course "Ninja and Ninjyutsu Gaku, Special lesson in Tokyo - From Iga, the birthplace of Ninja" was held by the Iga Cooperation Field at the Mie terrace in Nihonbashi / Tokyo.

On Dec.6th. 2014, a special lecture "Ninja in Edo" was given by Prof. Yuji Yamada at the faculty of humanities. Following this, Ms. Vanessa Shibata talked about her Family Shibata-ke, which is originated from the Edo Onmitsu. She and Musashi-ichizoku (led by Ms. Shibata) displayed their "Shinobi no Jyutsu" as well.

On the next day, on Dec.7th, a special event "Ninja Hyakunin-Shu - Let's find a sense of Iga in Edo!" was held by Igaueno Tourist Association. Prof. Yuji Yamada was the conductor of this tour. 100 participants were in Ninja costumes and visited some spots related to Ninja in Edo, such as Ueno Park, surrounding the Imperial Palace, Hanzo-mon, Shounen-ji and so on.

1st (May 31) Mie Terrace

We held an extension course "Ninja and Ninjyutsu Gaku, Special lesson in Tokyo - From Iga, the birthplace of Ninja" on May 31st, 2014 (Sa) at the Mie terrace in Nihonbashi / Tokyo.

The tickets were sold-out, which drove us to the conclusion that Ninja are also very popular in Tokyo. As our first course, two lectures were given in front of large audience.

Prof. Yuji Yamada, the faculty of humanities at Mie University, gave his lecture titled "The frontline of research about Ninja". And In addition, Prof. Jinichi Kawakami, honorary director of the Iga-ryū Ninja Museum / specially appointed professor of Mie University, gave his lecture" Ninja, the existence to be succeeded", followed by his demonstration.
